Though this year's Presidents Day sales are behind us, some of our favorite mattresses of 2025 can still be grabbed at a discount (for a very limited time). There are a variety of mattresses, soft and plush or firm and supportive, that have been discounted, so you can rest easy knowing you got the best deal. (And as someone who's spent years testing and reviewing mattresses and covering mattress sales, I know which deals are worth your money.) These companies also have offers on bedding and accessories like bases, pillows and sheets. But this may be your last chance to catch the Presidents Day prices, so you may want to act quickly.
Best overall Presidents Day mattress sales

- Casper: 35% off everything, which brings The One mattress down to $799 for a queen.

Presidents Day mattress deals from our favorite brands: Nectar, Saatva, Casper and more
Right now, you can get 25% off the entire Brooklyn Bedding website, including beds, toppers, sheets, blankets and more, when you use the code PRESDAY25. I like to see blanket sales across sites because there’s no confusion about what’s on sale.
That means you can get the Brooklyn Bedding Signature mattress for only $999 for a queen. If you need a new bed but aren’t sure what you want, Brooklyn Bedding Signature is a safe choice that most will love. My favorite cooling mattress, the Aurora Luxe, is on sale for only $1,699 for a queen. Cooling beds are usually pricey, making this a fantastic deal.
If you’re looking for your next memory foam mattress, now is a great time to buy one. Nectar is a longtime favorite in the memory foam space, with its dense feel that cradles you. During Nectar’s Presidents Day sale, you can get up to 50% off Nectar beds, with $599 in accessories included.
This might be the most generous sale I’ve seen from Nectar. The percentage off depends on which bed you choose. The Nectar Luxe, one of my favorite soft memory foam beds, is down from $3,165 to $1,249 for a queen. If you’re on a tight budget, you can grab the hybrid Nectar Classic mattress for only $799 for a queen. The all-foam model is $649.
CNET readers can use our exclusive promo code, CNET27, to save 27% sitewide at the Helix Presidents Day sale, which is 2% more than the usual discount. This includes all of the mattresses in Helix’s catalog, ranging from the core models to the Elites. That drops some of CNET’s favorite mattresses, like the Helix Sunset Luxe, down to $1,733, instead of $2,373. If that’s still out of your price range, you can go with the core Sunset model, which is only $972 for a queen. I recommend the Sunset beds from Helix for side sleepers who want plenty of pressure relief.
Another highlight of this sale is the free accessories. If you buy a core collection model, you'll get two free Dream pillows. If you go for a Luxe or Elite tier, you get a free bedding bundle, a $330 value.
Are you looking for an ultra-durable luxury bed? You’ll be happy to know that Saatva is running an up to $600 off mattress sale for Presidents Day.
If you know anything about Saatva’s luxury beds, you know they’re pricey. That’s why it’s nice to see such a significant chunk off. This is the standard sale I see from Saatva, but I consider it one of the better deals out there because it drops a queen Saatva Classic from $2,099 to $1,799. The Saatva Rx, which I recommend for folks with back pain, is up to $400 off.
For Presidents Day, Casper is running an up to 35% off sitewide sale that you won’t want to miss. This applies to everything from beds to sheets and pillows, many of which we’ve reviewed and loved. Casper mattresses are currently starting at only $599.
A queen Casper One mattress is only $799, which is 20% off. It’s hard to find quality beds under $1,000, making this is a great sale if you’re looking for an all-foam bed. As the beds go up in price, the sale also increases. For example, the Snow Max, which I recommend for hot sleepers, is down to $2,655 from $3,795. That’s 30% off.
Best Presidents Day sitewide mattress deals
Are you looking for a super firm bed? If so, you’ll like Plank, which is running a 25% off sitewide Presidents Day sale. This sale includes both Plank’s beds, the Plank Firm and Plank Firm Luxe. The flippable Plank Firm bed is only $999 for a queen. This sale also includes Plank’s accessories like pillows, toppers, blankets and more.
Use code PRESDAY25 to save.
Titan is one of the best bed brands out there for plus-sized bodies. For Presidents Day, you’ll get the Titan Plus, Titan Plus Luxe and the new Titan Plus Elite for 25% off. The Titan Plus mattress is my pick for the best firm mattress for heavy people. It’s super supportive and made to last against the test of time.
But the sale isn’t just limited to beds; it’s 25% off sitewide, which includes accessories and bases. All you have to do is use the code PRESDAY25.
Budget shoppers won’t want to miss this 25% off sitewide sale from Dreamfoam by Brooklyn Bedding. Dreamfoam’s mattresses are already affordable, but this sale makes them that much better. For example, the 11-inch model of the Dreamfoam doze mattress is only $251 for a queen. The thinnest option, which is good for guest rooms, is only $180.
This sale also includes accessories like pillows, sheets, blankets and more. To take advantage, use the code PRESDAY25.
Presidents Day mattress and accessory bundle deals
Leesa’s Presidents Day sale will get you 30% off select mattresses, like the Lessa Original and Legend beds. Depending on the model, Leesa beds can get pricey, so it’s nice to see 30% off. This sale means you can get the all-foam model of the Leesa Original bed for under $1000.
As if it wasn’t good enough, you’ll get a free accessory set with two pillows and a microfiber sheet set when you buy a bed. No code is required to cash in on this sale.
Bear is known for making relatively affordable beds. Add on a Presidents Day sale with up to 35% off, and they’re almost impossible to pass up. It’s hard to find quality queen beds for under $1,000, but you can get the Bear Original for only $649. The Pro Hybrid is only $949. This sale also includes two free pillows when you buy a bed.
Use code PRESDAY to get 35% off. Note that the two free pillows are not included with the purchase of the Bear Trek, Bear Cub or Bear Trundle.
Nolah is offering one of the most generous Presidents Day sales -- 35% off plus two free pillows with any mattress purchase. Nolah mattresses are among my favorites, especially for their plush pillow tops, though I have to admit they can be pricey. That’s why it’s so nice to see 35% off sitewide. That drops the Nolah Evolution bed down from $2,499 to $1,624. That’s $875 off. You can also get $170 off the BedJet 3 climate system, which is usually $599, when you buy a bed.
Organic mattresses tend to be more expensive because of the all-natural construction. And the reality is that the retail price is more expensive than many people can afford. That’s why I’m so excited to see up to 50% off mattresses from PlushBeds. With this sale, the PlushBeds Botanical Bliss bed is only $1,899 instead of $3,249. That’s $1,399 off the retail price. That’s significantly more off than other brands are offering.
With this sale, you’ll also receive $599 in free bedding when you buy a bed. This bundle includes two organic pillows, a sheet set and a waterproof protector. Toppers and bedding are also 25% off.
All other Presidents Day deals
For Presidents Day, Mattress Firm offers up to 60% off. That knocks beds like the Beautyrest Silver down to $600 for a queen. That’s 57% off. You’ll also see other brands included in this Mattress Firm deal, including plenty of Serta beds and Tempur-Pedic.
The free adjustable base with a bed purchase is available with queen mattresses costing $499+ or king mattresses costing $599+. Just use the code ELEVATE to get your free base.
Puffy is another brand offering a nice chunk off your next bed. For Presidents Day, Puffy is offering $1,350 in savings. The Puffy Lux, one of our favorite soft mattresses, is on sale for only $1,399 instead of $2,749. It’s easily one of the best deals you’ll see for Presidents Day. Use code PRESIDENT to get thousands off your next bed.
Those looking for a dense, memory foam mattress and an adjustable base set are in luck. Tempur-Pedic is running a deal that lets you save up to $500 and get $300 in free accessories. Like other sales, the amount off varies by bed and base. The ActiveBreeze mattresses are $500 off, ProBreeze and LuxeBreeze mattresses are $300 off and the LuxeAdapt beds are $200 off. The bed savings apply automatically, though if you want your free accessories, use code 300FREE.
You can snag up to $900 off Purple mattresses and bases. The amount you get off depends on the mattress, though it ranges from $200 to $600. For example, the Purple Restore hybrid is $300 off. The sale also varies by base, like the Premium Smart Base, which is $300. Add those together, and you’ll get closer to $900 off.
It’s important to note that you don’t have to buy a base to get the discount on the bed, but you have to get a mattress and base to receive the discount for the base. Additionally, Purple is offering 30% off bedding, pillows and more.
Few brands match Sleep Number’s level of customization. For Presidents Day, you can get 50% off select limited-edition smart beds with cooling technologies. The iLE Limited Edition smart bed allows you to adjust firmness on each side and even adapts to your movements automatically. Since it’s typically pricey, a 50% discount on the $5,499 queen size is a big deal -- bringing the price down to $2,749.
You can save 27% sitewide at Birch with our exclusive promo code, CNET27. That knocks down the Birch Natural bed, which we think is the best organic hybrid, to only $1,368. Natural beds are noticeably more expensive than the average bed, so a 27% discount is a welcome deal.
DreamCloud is no stranger to big sales around the holidays. Presidents Day is no exception, with up to 50% off mattresses and 66% off bundles. That brings the price of the DreamCloud hybrid mattress down to only $665. It’s rare to find a luxury mattress under $1,000, so seeing one drop from $1,664 to $665 is a huge deal.
Layla runs the same sale nearly every holiday: $150 off with two free pillows on the Layla mattress and $200 off the Layla Hybrid with two free pillows. It’s not the flashiest sale, but it's worth it if you’re looking for a flippable bed. The memory foam Layla mattress is only $949 right now.
No one does organic mattresses quite like Avocado. You can get up to 20% off Avocado beds for Presidents Day. The percentage off depends on the bed you choose. The Avocado Green bed is 15% off, while the Eco Organic is only 10% off. While it’s not the biggest sale out there, Avocado beds are known for their high quality and strong reputation in the organic mattress market.
For Presidents Day, WinkBeds is running a $300 off mattress sale, bringing down the flagship WinkBed mattress to $1,499. This is a typical discount for this bed, so I wouldn’t say it’s a standout sale. That said, it’s still a solid time to buy -- especially if you’re already eyeing the WinkBed. I’m a big fan of this hefty, luxury-style bed with its plush pillow top.
CNET’s best overall choice for beds for heavy people is $500 off right now with Big Fig’s Presidents Day sale. That means you can get the Big Fig classic mattress for only $1,399 for a queen. That’s a good price for a bed made with reinforced steel coils and a 1,100 total weight limit. Big Fig is an excellent choice for those looking for a heavy bed that falls on the firmer side.
Nest Bedding is running a ton of sales for Presidents Day. To start, beds are up to 50% off, which translates to up to $1,365 off select models. The Sparrow Signature Hybrid bed, which I recommend for couples, is $1,732 instead of $2,132. If you buy a bed, you’ll also get a free bedding bundle, including two pillows and a mattress protector. The discount depends on the bed you buy.
Pillows and bedding are up to 60% off, and furniture is up to 30% off.
Naturepedic is known for making organic mattresses and sleep essentials. For President’s Day, there’s a 20% off sale across Naturepedic’s website. That includes popular beds like the Serenade Organic Hybrid. It’s usually $1,999, though you can snag it for $1,599 when you use the code PRESDAY20.
This sale ends Feb. 24.
Is Presidents Day a good time to buy a mattress?
Here's the thing about mattresses: You should never buy them at full price. Trust me, I've been doing this for years and can confidently say that beds are almost always on sale. If you time it well, you can get hundreds off your next bed and even score some free bedding accessories.
There are a couple of big holidays for mattresses, and Presidents Day is a big one. Right now, you'll find some of the best discounts of the year. If you're already in the market, it's a great time to buy.
