Those looking for a dense, memory foam mattress and an adjustable base set are in luck. Tempur-Pedic is running a deal that lets you save up to $500 and get $300 in free accessories. Like other sales, the amount off varies by bed and base. The ActiveBreeze mattresses are $500 off, ProBreeze and LuxeBreeze mattresses are $300 off and the LuxeAdapt beds are $200 off. The bed savings apply automatically, though if you want your free accessories, use code 300FREE.

You can snag up to $900 off Purple mattresses and bases. The amount you get off depends on the mattress, though it ranges from $200 to $600. For example, the Purple Restore hybrid is $300 off. The sale also varies by base, like the Premium Smart Base, which is $300. Add those together, and you’ll get closer to $900 off.

Since it’s typically pricey, a 50% discount on the $5,499 queen size is a big deal -- bringing the price down to $2,749.

This is a typical discount for this bed, so I wouldn’t say it’s a standout sale. That said, it’s still a solid time to buy -- especially if you’re already eyeing the WinkBed. I’m a big fan of this hefty, luxury-style bed with its plush pillow top.

CNET’s best overall choice for beds for heavy people is $500 off right now with Big Fig’s Presidents Day sale. That means you can get the Big Fig classic mattress for only $1,399 for a queen. That’s a good price for a bed made with reinforced steel coils and a 1,100 total weight limit. Big Fig is an excellent choice for those looking for a heavy bed that falls on the firmer side.

Nest Bedding is running a ton of sales for Presidents Day. To start, beds are up to 50% off, which translates to up to $1,365 off select models. The Sparrow Signature Hybrid bed, which I recommend for couples, is $1,732 instead of $2,132. If you buy a bed, you’ll also get a free bedding bundle, including two pillows and a mattress protector. The discount depends on the bed you buy.
