Well... maybe we have a different definition of harem. Or maybe you're underestimating the maintenance cost of girls that would accept to be part of a harem.

Say goodbye to your free time and any idea of long holidays. The risk of burnout is high, many VN games end up abandoned because of mental and physical health problems and money problems. All of them have that drop after New Year. The site is guessing based on calculations. The site then checks the calculations at certain times and corrects them. So in this case, when checking with Patreon it noticed he had 2000 less than their calculations said because of monthly subscriptions.
